Experimental Study on Flow and Sediment Distribution at Off-Take Channel

River off-take is one of the complex features in fluvial systems and distribution flow, sediments along branches are still a matter research. This paper deals with physical simulation on an channel for understanding flow sediment vicinity. Laboratory-based test runs have been carried out by changing discharges angles off-take. A total eighteen conducted three discharge conditions angles. Two equations predicting water ratios proposed as function Froude number, geometry angel. Flow visualizations also vicinity erosion sedimentation pattern. movement patterns were carefully observed during four distinguished zone formations noted Finally, validations developed done field data from selected river Bangladesh. Validation results show mean discrepancy 0.83 equation 0.89 low flow.
